Welcome to Amy Hunt Yoga
Yoga therapy for mental health on the San Francisco Peninsula

Yoga therapy is a research-based approach to health and well being that uses breath and movement practices drawn from yoga, applied to specific mental and physical conditions.
Small Group Classes
Yoga therapy is often done in a small group setting so that people can benefit from a sense of community and shared experience.
I offer a set 8-week course created by the acclaimed Minded Institute in London as well as weekly drop-in yoga classes with a therapeutic approach.
Update 7/23: I am currently accepting registration for the 8-week course beginning in October 2023. Sessions will run for 8 weeks, two hours per session. Please contact me at amyehunt225@gmail.com or browse this website for more information.

Yoga Therapy
I am a yoga teacher and a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT), having trained at the Minded Institute in London. I also hold an MA in teaching, a BA in Psychology, and a BA in English. In the last year I have updated my training to include additional work in persistent pain, trauma-informed yoga for prison populations, and training in Embodied Education. I’ve also done training on easing symptoms of long CoVid. Currently I’m doing more work in pain therapy and embodied social justice.
My areas of specialization are depression, anxiety, and stress in adults and young adults. I also work with those suffering from trauma/PTSD, persistent pain, migraine/headaches, post-CoVid recovery, post- cardiac event recovery, and difficult life transitions.
